During June 2010, 2 months from now, Streamhead will be on location, road-tripping through the Western part of the United States. The plans haven’t finalized yet, but that’s where I need some input. Actually, the post only goes into cleaning the player’s lens, which is the number one most common reason why a CD player will mallfunction. It’s a very basic repair, so don’t expect any complicated electro howto. It is however not something most people will easily do, because in most cases you’ll have to void your warranty. So only try this if your only other option is going to a repair guy.

Among the many blogging clients available, I’ve selected three for closer inspection: the aforementioned Raven, BlogDesk and Scribefire. The last one is an add-on for Firefox, the first two are standalone Windows applications. All support pretty much every blogging platform available. This post goes into some of the differences.

Easily and quickly you can construct basic user interfaces in ActionScript. When Flex is a little too heavy, this is a really neat solution.
